Bringing Back Air-Spike: Ride the Lightning
After messing around with Ride the Lightning in AB, I began to appreciate the skill. It didn't take long for my mind to wander... and come up with this.
Take 4 elementalists with about 100 energy, the four necessary skills will be Ride the Lightning, Lightning Touch, Air Attunement, and Ressig. The four others are entirely optional, leaving a lot of room for variety.
To spike, the target is called, and the four eles shadow step in with Ride the Lightning, followed up with Lightning Touch. If a support char packs a water magic hex, the AoE from the spike can devastate anyone who happens to be too close. However, a hex could give the spike away.
With a Water Magic hex, the spike deals 1056 damage to the target, and 528 damage to anyone adjacent to the target. (vs 60 armor)
edit: Not all of the lightning touches will go through, since the target will die almost instantly, so, the AoE will not occur as aforementioned.
Attribs:
Air: 12+2+1
Energy Storage: 12+1
Throw in a support char with Frozen Soil and a few monks to finish the team.
